Questions about three furs - Age? Description? Type?

OK - I don’t want to call this a “collar” - perhaps a “cowl neck fur shawl”? I think it’s muskrat. 50s?

And this is mink - Kind of neat style, but the kind of fur that’s everywhere. Again, 50’s?
And it almost has a cape look to it.

This fur is darker and clearly better quality. It has a Ben Kahn label. Maybe a natural mink? It'syummy. And I’m guessing 60s. Any comments appreciated.

They all look like mink to me...have you tried turning the scarf so that the opening rests more on the shoulder line, I'm really curious as to how it would look posed that way.

I agree that manni is pretty nice...very classic in look and pose!

You all are so kind. It's the back of the greenhouse - natural lighting. I always worry about the various nails sticking out, water marks, etc., making it look on the nasty side. I'd love to know about the last fur. It's extra soft. How very sweet if it were sable, but I don't think so. Will go check our fur resource.

I think they are all mink and the bottom one might be ranch mink, but I'm no expert. I love your, manni, too!

If it's super soft they are most likely female pelts and they are actually more expensive.

If it were to be sable, the pelts should be quite a bit wider than mink.

I believe all three are mink. Not positive of course, but my mom's cousin was a furrier on the lower east side. I spent a lot of time playing with leftover pelts. ; )
