Questions on a fur trimmed wool dress

it must be Sunday, I'm investigating dresses. This is a purple wool "Miss Rubette" dress with a metal back zipper. There are two attached swaths of fabric with fur tips- one front and one back. I can't tell what kind of fur it is, any ideas? Not sure if I have it tied correctly (both tied in the front like a sash?) in the one pic of the front of the dress hanging up. Aside from a musty smell it sure is a perfect dress! any input? thanks in advance

Hi, Those are Sable fur tails, nice type of fur, nice dress too. The pics displayed sideways but from that angle the way you tied it as shown in the one pic looks good to me.
