questions on two hats

1) How would you describe this milliner-made black silk 60s number I got a few months ago from my elegant MIL? Bubble toque? Lampshade hat?

And how would you describe the fabric treatment? I see puckers with satin pompoms that remind me of coffin upholstery, but that observation does NOT lend itself to any good KW!

2) What say you on the date for this straw and ribbon Dachettes (and would you call it a beret)? Sometimes I think 60s, sometimes I think late 50s...

I am terrible with hats (I admit it) but I think the "bubble toque" is a good description. It also has a top hat quality to it that might be good to mention. I can a steampunk gal wearing it. The second one does have a beret look to it. Sorry I can't be more help!

I'd include short-brim bubble crown for the top one and structured beret on the second one. I absolutely love the fabric treatment on each one!
