Quickie! Is this wool?

a burn test. I will go see if i can look up the results for wool.

It looks like wool to me, but i can't touch it so can't tell for sure, but i would bet it was. Usually synthetics are labelled (they were proud of their Orlons and Antron knits back in the day) but not always.

Take a loose thread from the inside or inconspicuous area. hold it with tweezers in a safe place like the kitchen sink where you can quickly douse it out. Light it with a match, and see what happens. If it melts instead i believe it is a nylon.
