Quilt Squares/Textile question

I have 19 of these 10 by 10 inch quilt squares. I was wondering if the “H” pattern had a specific name.

The fabric used for the H’s appears to be an early calico, but the blue cotton could be any time I suppose.

Most of these are machine stitched, a few are hand stitched. I bought them with some other quilt squares which are clearly “antique” but I am floundering on the general date of these squares. Any ideas?

I've looked in my older quilt books, and did not see this H pattern. The fabric looks 1910s, maybe into the early 20s.

I love quilts. Maybe it was the persons initial of last name or something. Nice one.

I'm with Fuzzielizzie. I've had several Edwardian era (1912ish) dresses made with very similar fabric. Don't know anything about quilting though.

I've found patterns and images, and that is what the quilter pages call it.
