Hi there! I have this here Radley dress which I believe to be 1970s mimicing 1940s. I only bought it because it was cute, I paid no mind to the label, althought it looked very Biba-ish to me.

So, I was going to list it todayand figured I might want to check out the label first because somewhere in the back of my mind I kept hearing Ossie Clark. Lol.

So here's my question. Is this still desirable since Ossie Clarks name is not on it?

Thank You!

We really need these on the Ebay boards.....

Hi there, it's not an Ossie creation (alas!)- those dresses have an Ossie Clark for Radley label in them. I don't think it looks Ossie inspired - it looks a bit disco / getting on for the 80's to me. I have what I think is a similar period Radley dress for sale on my website right now (which has the same label) if you were looking for pricing ideas you could take a peek:

Your dress certainly isn't a piece of junk!

hi, yeah a 1980's Radley dress, (when i was a buyer we bought from them) and Ossie was one of many designers who blossomed in the Radley Stable..the label still has the ossie feel l agree, but he was by then long gone (in more ways than one!).

Radley was on the high end of mid level party wear and is collectible along with John Charles and Parigi and Mondi from the same period. I sell these dress for Between £40-£80 and l would put this on around the £48...if its virgin vintage add another £10 or so. If you are lisitng it on ebay, it wont bring in the website ££'s unfortunately.
