Rare LL Bean Snake Boot

I can’t find any examples of these in this condition any where online. I actually contacted LL Bean looking for some more info and they couldn’t provide much. I don’t know if I’ll ever let these go but I wouldn’t even know what to price them at when that time comes.

Either way, here are a few pictures of these beautiful specimens.

Those are fabulous!
And unusual... they look like engineer boots (lace-less) with moc toe styling. The use of an oil-resisting sole makes sense on an engineering work boot.

EDIT: Vibram began using an octagonal logo in 1947 but it simply stated, "Vibram Reg. Mark". Vibram was licensed to a North American company in 1964. Starting in 1969, the logo began to be used in a yellow gold color. Vibram's website states this transition took place "over time". My guess for the age of your boots would be 1960s/70s.

Thank you very much guys.

Not to take away from the original post(because I do feel like these boots are a forgotten style from LL Bean) but in the time between posting those pictures and this response I came across this in my morning travels.
