Real leopard/ocelot fur?

I herited this beautiful peace of unfinished fur. (Missing sleeves). It dates back around 50s-60s. I heard it would be ocelot fur which could be true, because it is made of many pieces. But the markings indicates leopard.

Other side is skin with the stamp "Supera Alfa Fur Italy."

The fur is very smooth to touch. Not the feel like cow, sheep, beaver etc. There is some longer hair than others. Colour is hard to get right on the photo.

Faux, leopard, ocelot or what? Thank you!

What do you see if you separate the hairs where the darkest markings are? Does the color go down to the root, or is there a 1/8 or 1/4" that is a different shade? When markings are very even, it can indicate they are painted on. Not necessarily faux fur, but painted to look like big cat, but on a more accessible fur type.

Also, could you lay the entire piece out flat, and capture a picture of each side? That will help with the determining the pelts!

Thank you for the help! Black rosette parts go very deep and then you can see the skin. It is made of many parts as seen on the other side.
