Realistic mannequins back in vogue again?

This Associated Press article appeared in the business section of my local newspaper today.

The pendulum swings again. But I have to draw the line at mannequin pubic hair "peeking through" sheer lingerie.

I've always liked mannequins with realistic facial features, though. I think the Rootsteins are beautiful. Modern headless ones bother me, LOL! I always think of decapitated people.

UGH on the manny with the pubic hair, aside from the morality issue, she just looks plain ugly. Not my cup o tea, thank you. Although I will admit it is a tad bit refreshing to see someone in fashion acknowledging that women DO indeed have pubic hair and it is part of the beauty of women.

I am not sure how I feel about disfigured or fattie mannequins in department stores. Especially if they are wearing undies!
