I just posted a dress late last night and this morning it has an absolute crap load of watchers. Like, it almost makes me think there's been a mistake. It is a lovely dress, and wonderfully well made but did I miss something? I tried doing research on the label and variations of the label name and came up with a big ZERO.

I was thinking it was a custom made piece for an Italian tourist, or something along those lines. I did find out that Frattina is a very fashionable street in Rome, similar to our Madison Avenue...

Is it possible there's nothing special, just people really like the dress?

I just found her name in my little book of fashion. She specialized in wedding gowns. She designed for royalty. She also design lingerie for Ossie Clark and dresses for Norman Hartnell.

That's Gina Fratini, a British designer and never based in Rome AFAIK! I personally think you're just getting a lot of watchers because that is one extremely cute 60s-in-a-nutshell dress!!

THanks everyone - I found the stuff for Fratini too but thought it was different as well. If you read my description you'll see I almost didn't list it! It's nice and all but doesn't really DO anything for me. Oh well - lots of watchers doesn't necessarily mean anything. I've had items w/ 80+ watchers sell for $38.........
