Red embroidered jacket ?s

This is a very well made no name fully lined jacket - and red, my fav colour!
Is this 70s and is there a name for this type of embroidery and where would it have come from?

Yes, it definitely has that Austro-Hungarian feel about it, probably part of an ethnic costume...very pretty!

Great Jacket! I have a pretty similar style jacket whose label is all in German and the product label says "Schurwolle" - which is German for "Pure Wool"

The label is something along the lines of "Mauser-Wodell" although I've never been sure if the first letter is an M or an H or a K... most likely an M though. Geez - Hubby to be's father is a German teacher - think I'd remember to ask him?!? HA!

Anyway - just snapped a few pics for comparison sake - sorry about the crappy quality and my lovely pajamas underneath it...
