Red Pendleton Plaid Coat

I recently acquired a red plaid Pendleton coat. When I purchased it, I thought is was a woman's coat. (it is even photographed on a woman manni!). But after photographing it, I am not sure if it is a man's or woman's. It has the gold / blue label on it indicating from the 60's, the buttons are on the right side. But yet it has the "style" of a womans. Also would it be a 49er? Thanks in advance for your help.<br><img src="http://www.sydneysvintageclothing.com/cart/images/ebay111606no011.jpg"><br><img src="http://www.sydneysvintageclothing.com/cart/images/ebay111606no014.jpg"><br><img src="http://www.sydneysvintageclothing.com/cart/images/ebay111606no017.jpg"><br><img src="http://www.sydneysvintageclothing.com/cart/images/ebay111606no022.jpg"><br><img src="http://www.sydneysvintageclothing.com/cart/images/ebay111606no025.jpg">

Not a 49er, but definitely a man's coat. Besides the buttons going left over right, that blue label is always on menswear.

It's a man's coat. The label is the giveaway. They only did men's clothing and outwear.

I have several men's shirts and costs with this label.
