Refashion or Rehome? I don't know what I have.

Greetings!

Well, the closet is open and I am revisiting these coats.
Darling Fiance bought these for me knowing I'd enjoy working on them.

I need your help, please?

What do I have here?

1,2. I love the collar color. I could see make a shoulder wrap of the coat with this collar.
Or, what could I sell it for?

3, 4 Is this Coyote? If so, my daughter is in South Dakota (Coyote state!) and I think she would look great in a short jacket from this. She and my fiance were close so it would be meaningful to her.
Or, what could I realize on a sale?

5,6 This is a beautiful coat from Munich Germany according to the tag. The fur is longer and very sumptuous. I think perhaps I would change the collar a bit. It's also snug in the shoulders.

I want to honor my sweet fiancé but also be practical in the amount I invest in modifications or gain in selling.

I do need help with all this and genuinely appreciate it. This site has so much information. It's really impressive.

With my fiance's unexpected death, I have so much to sell from my design studio and selling of my other home. I am a sponge here! :)

I've been looking around this lovely forum to see how I may contribute and have a few ideas from my days in marketing and PR.

The first is raccoon fur with a sheepskin fur collar.

The second is indeed coyote fur.

The third and last is blue fox fur.

Regarding value. Some people wind up with their furs or other beautiful vintage fashion garments and accessories forever while some others are able to sell the same for significantly higher prices and very quickly.
You can have an ice cream shop that has not one person walking in and then you can have an ice cream shop down the street that has a long line and higher prices.
The ice cream shop with the longer lines and higher prices shares more about their ice cream so more people buy their ice cream.

When considering selling, check out prices for similar items. Maybe people are getting what they are asking for, maybe not. Then try numbers that you feel comfortable with and come down if you need to make your price or prices more attractive.

I am sorry about your fiancé. There is great honor just through your care and desire to learn more about what you have.
 
You just moved me to tears, furwise. Thank you for saying this and your generosity in advice and time.

My fiancé wanted to give me all opportunities to enjoy design and my love to refurbish or create as we neared his retirement. He would see something he thought i would like and surprise me. Bless his heart. It's why I don't know what I have but every piece is so special because he chose it.

I know I want to create something special for myself and daughter and then to pass on these beauties to someone who will love them, too. You've been of great help.
