Removing red dots form clothes labels

Hello,

Does anyone know anything - cheaper the better - that removes those awful red dots from clothes tags that shop put in them like Next & M&S when items are in the Sale. I want to give someone an item for a present with the tags on but it's got this red dot on & I don't want the die to run on their washing in the machine. Any tips appreciated?

Try dabbing Isopropyl alcohol on the stain lightly.

I used INSTAclean (from HSN) to remove an old stain from Charlie's lab coat. It might have been a blood stain. It was on the sleeve and I put a cloth inside the sleeve so the stain wouldn't migrate.
