Repro Vintage Dress Dating 90s?

Hi Everyone,
This repro is marked a 4XL but it is a 38 inch bust with a bit of stretch in the fabric and a 35 inch waist. I'm not sure how to 'date' this. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance! lauren

Could be a Chinese size 4XL I guess... I know I had to buy my cheongsam in size L at a Chinese shop, and I am by normal sizes around an S. A friend told me of a friend who bought mostly larger size Made in China retro dresses for her shop, and she said they were all over the place sizewise and not very well fitting...

I think Katarzyna's assessment is right regarding the dating, this is a fairly recent item.
