Researching Designers?

Hi everyone! I found an amazing 60's shift dress, Americana colors! It's by Nancy Green and I just want to see if I can find out more about her. Does anyone have any advice for researching makers/ designers/ brands or could anyone recommend any databases?

I suspect you may have found a Nancy Greer dress. Is the label in script, and might it say "Nancy Greer, New York" ?

There's not much info available online for that label, but I believe Nancy Greer was a clothing manufacturer, not a person/designer.

Our VFG label database is the best around, but there's no listing on Nancy Greer.

I have a nancy Greer dress here is the label , I don't mind if its used for the label resource .
