REVISED: Maker: OLGA
Tag: Had the OLGA and "bird"
Material Listed: nYLON SHELL
Nylon/Lycra Lace
Color: Black
Had a stretchy brushed cotton type feel to it. It would cling to your form without restrictions. Not a mini slip but shorter than a half slip - above the knee. I don't have a picture of the labe - I wish! Then I could have the style number.
I think its 80's era and I also think there was full slips made from the same type of material. The lace was 3'. and there was only one seam. If anyone has any clue even if a full slip - the style number would be helpful even. Thank you!!
I am hoping to replace my favorite slip. I have spent months seeking! It was by OLGA, black - the uniqueness was the fit and material. It FELT like a soft brushed t-shirt cotton with a bit of spandex/lycra, not classified as support - but it would cling to your shape. The length was ABOVE the knee with 5" elasticed lace (estimate) that went completely around. No slit. There was a seam in the back and the label was cotton-like. It was OLGA for sure but I don't know the stock number. I have searched textile, labels, vintage sites and even tried contacting "olga intimates" and have purchased possible candidates online. I do think it was a late 70 to early 80's because of the material. The tag read nylon - but not 100% sure. I am hoping to find any info - from ideas, pictures and of course to purchase! DIG DEEP PLEASE!! I am crossing my fingers!! Thank You!
