I'd love some input on this rhinestone pin. I think it's early-mid 1950s but more info would always be useful in researching it. Maker, etc kind of guesses.

It's huge. 2.75inches square.

Thanks!

Metro, thanks!! Maltese cross...that alluded me...what kind of cross what kind of cross...thanks!

And the other info too. I've been reading about D&E making other jewelry but not this early, more 70s. Do I have that right? I think. Been reading so much lately. Anyway, I can't wait for more info. LOVE this forum!

Anytime Bycin :) Oh, you'll find plenty of D&E over the decades -- beginning around the mid/late 40's I believe. They made jewelry for lots of designers and had plenty of their own lines, although Juliana is the best known.

And from it's construction, I do believe that it's Juliana, although am not 100 percent. Hopefully Linn and those who know rhinestones really well, will stop by and can help you further.

It's beautiful btw.

I've sent an email to the juliana education site. Mr. Delizza verfies them there. So....mebbe so, mebbe so. My mom picked it up at a yard sale, if you can believe it.

Linn, my mom has a brain injury and shopping is her gift, I'll tell you. She finds this stuff... like a pig to truffles. lol Love that!

Can't wait to hear from the experts at the Juliana site. Will keep you both posted. : )
