I saw this earlier & actually started crying.

Did you know that she had no idea the cult status her image had attained? It just boggles the mind.

She's had a difficult & interesting life - I hope she's resting peacefully now...

A cult status she never fully cashed in on. She could have been super rich with liscencing and all that jazz (think Elvis), but preferred to live quietly. That article said she didn't sign with an agent until '05 when the movie was being made. I'm glad she got something from that, at least.

There was just an inner sweetness about her that shined through in all of her photos.
Her life and the way she chose to live it has always fascinated me.
