Oh, she died way too young. She influenced my own personal style in the 1970's for a year or two.

She certainly led an interesting life...her mother was a model as well for Schiaparelli...and Cecil Beaton the photographer called her the only truly chic Englishwoman.

Too sad! It actually was in my newspaper here today - hats off to them... to be honest I didn't think they would write anything about her. But that's just a reason more why I like this paper . They've been pretty good at surprising me positively in this way lately.
