Gone but never forgotten...I would love to see a fashion retrospective of the work he did with Vivienne Westwood. What a sad day.

I was shocked to hear the news. He'd not been 'visible' for quite some time - his irreverent comments and provocative attitude were always fun.

i used to see him a lot in the late 80's at Save The Robots. An after hours bar, with sand on the floor in the lower east side.

FANS is still one of my favorite CDS of all time.

The last I heard of him was in that tee shirt scandal where Damien Hirst spent big bucks on early Westwood/McLaren tees, just to have McLaren declare they were fakes. That was 2 years ago.
