RIP Nolan Miller

It was interesting to read about his connection to Joan Crawford and that she was his true inspiration for the exaggerated shoulder pads.
He sure did bring back the glam!!!

RIP Mr. Miller

Here's a little clip just showing some of incredible Dynasty outfits... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=St7Lty8zQW0&feature=related
Some of it is over the top, I admit (and even reminds me of some of the stuff my Barbie dolls had at the time...), but some of it is just absolutely fab. I am a child of the 80s, but I was too small to be allowed to watch Dynasty. I just saw the pictures in the TV magazines. This little clip probably shows more than I've seen ever before of this show. I find just the idea of designing so many outfits over so many years and not be running out of ideas absolutely amazing.

You gotta love the guy who designed Morticia Addams cobweb dress, one of my favorite celebrity gowns ever!!! AND I couldn't agree more with his lament about movie stars borrowing dresses...how gauche! These women make obscene amounts of money and they expect fashion charity under the guise of "exposure" Shame!

RIP Mr. Miller.
