I would like to know more about this label which comes from a dress with tabard, I think circa 1970s.

It's not a label I've ever come across (I'm in UK and was based in London until recently). If you want help dating the tabard, please post pics of the whole garment.

A Companies House search shows a Robina fashion house in London that was incorporated in 1984 and dissolved in 2013. The brand may have existed before the company formation though.

It looks like a family business with the surname Ziff, including Robina Ziff.

A quick search suggests that Robina Ziff was connected with Escada in Bond Street, who once dressed a young Diana Spencer. http://www.ncweb.com/users/jem630/nettie.html

Thank you very much for this information that’s really interesting, something for me to look into further. I’ll post a picture of the dress and tabard later.

Hi, i think I've sent you a direct message.

I remember this shop on Bond Street. My stepmum shopped there. The shop was called Robina and all clothes had that branded label in them. I still have a few of their hangers and a few items of clothes too. Though I don't wear them they include what I wore on my wedding day!

I think they had at least two premises on Bond Street, either at the same time or they moved from one to another. They only sold women's clothing.

Thanks Angela, the message didn’t come through but the information you’ve provided here in the thread is really helpful and backs up the information that they were based on Bond Street. I’ll try looking through some directories to help confirm when they were established in Bond Street.

You're welcome.
I seem to remember that the woman who owned the shops was called Robina. This would have been from the 1980s, perhaps earlier, to at least the mid 1990's
