Ross Sutherland Hawaiian shirt question

I have searched every place I can think of and reached out to folks I thought might know, but have not gotten answers. I have attached photos of a Ross Sutherland Hawaiian shirt. I am trying to date the shirt but even more, I'm trying to find out if it is possible that the gold embellishments on this shirt have been hand-painted. I don't know if that was done by this brand. They don't appear symmetrical which is what makes me feel they might be. The fabric is rather stiff and the gold areas have a different texture.
Thank you for any assistance.

It would help date the shirt if you could show the entire shirt. Ross Sutherland was a men's clothing store in Hawaii with several branches - one in Waikiki, one at Ala Moana and I think one at Kahala Mall and possibly on the neighbor islands. I believe they closed in the 1990's but haven't been able to find out the exact date. I don't think they manufactured shirts. I think they purchased shirts and added their label. During my search I found out that they purchased shirts from the company that became Pomare back in the 1960s. And I discovered that Ross Sutherland's widow died in 2003 at the age of 93 but I can't find his obituary.

I would guess 1960s, I have a Hawaiian shirt with the exact same buttons from the same era.

I can't help with the print but it's really cool!

That is a very cool shirt!

I might suppose that the gold designs were block printed onto the shirt. Not hand painted per se , but hand applied using a carved wooden block that was dipped into the paint and then pressed onto the fabric. This was also done using a roller (copper or wood). It might have possibly been silk screened onto the fabric. But my guess is block printed. This would give it that asymmetrical hand painted effect.
