This hat has no labels that I can find, I've included pictures of the interior in the hope this may help someone to identify when it was made as I'm not experienced enough yet with the methods.
I don't know if it's supposed to go round the head or sit on top either.
Totally agree with Mary Jane on this. In fact, this specific style hat seems to have been very popular in the 50s--I swear I've seen identical ones, and may even have a very similar one in stock right now (not the exact hat, but close to it).
Can you think of any better ways to describe it? I don't know what to call this shape! I need something that will actually indicate what it will look like to people...
