Having a ferret around at my local charity shop and I picked up a brooch, scarf & a hat. I've never found a vintage scarf yet & I'm not sure if this is new or not & same goes for the brooch. So many retro bits out there & this charity shop has alot of retro jewellery. Silk scarf has rolled hem and the brooch seems to have real fur, but once again, there's such good imitations out there....

I know that even if they are vintage there's little money in them, a couple of dollars, but would be nice to think I had identified vintage in amongst the modern. But I often go soooo wrong!

Also, while I'm here ;)...I also picked up a hat there, it's a turban hat & wiv a Jacoll label so I know that's vintage so grabbed that. What I find odd is that the label is really hidden right under the seams & lining & I had a hard job even catching a peek at the edge of it. Now I have got a Jacoll 60s hat with Jacoll regd Made in England, but the turban label has a Big decorative J and then Jacoll regd Made In England. Anyone know the difference in the two labels?

Thanks everyone!

Sarah

Oh good, I'm glad the brooch is vintage, I might have to keep it, I rather like it with the pretty rose...

Any ideas on scarf and the Jacoll label. I should hv taken a pic of hat, but light too dim now.
