Saint Laurent Skirt

Velvetsage, it's a bit hard to tell from the photo: do you have a close up of the print, details on the fabric and construction (metal or nylon zipper etc) or photos of the label?

If you compare the label to the VFG label resource you might find something similar that will help you date.

YSL launched in 1962 and the label rive gauche label was launched in 1966 in his paris boutique of the same name, this would be a cusper at very latest, would be one of the early seasons l would wager.

You know, looking at the detail print shot on flikr, with that size tag, I really wonder whether this is 1980s. It could be an 80s nostalgia novelty print, with those colours and splash-paint-style, and I've had that label on some great 80s skirts...
 
Nicole, l'm with you now l see a close up...an early mid 80's print...Mondi and Bruestle the high end off the peg European design houses, were selling lots of these type of prints when l was buying....l remebre having big floral prints similar to the en vogue summer look this year!

It's funny, 'cuz when I looked at it, I wondered, too, if it might not be an 80's "retro" style. Seems to me the style itself as well as the print could be from that era. Is there a fabric content and/or care label anywhere?
