Santa Moncia Vintage Expo

Went to the Santa Monica Vintage Fashion Expo this weekend. Even on Sunday afternoon, the last day, it was pretty busy. I interviewed the co-owners of the expo - Blue Moon Vintage. Great couple who have been in the vintage biz for years!

They said accessories and 70s-80s stuff was selling very well.

A couple celeb spottings included the guy who played Boone on Lost, and Rachel Zoe. Her husband is very handsome in person. She was quite nice. I took a picture of her - she was very gracious even though the show was closing and she was frantically trying on last minute buys.

Once again, I missed it :(

Had an estate sale to run Friday/Saturday - and since Saturday was my sister's Bday and she went out that night, I let her take Sunday off to recover, which meant I was in the store all day.

I made it to the Vintage Fashion Expo on Sunday. I love to be in a place where I am surrounded by vintage -- it's kid in a candy store time! I was tempted by all kinds of wonderful things, but I only succumbed to one -- a nifty 40s beaded dress. It has a peplum and a lovely side drape, which my pic doesn't show very well. I can't wait to wear it.
