Sari New York snakeskin mules -50/60\'s?

the lady I got these from says she must have got them either in 1959 or 1961 when she went to America (though I have to say I'm not trusting her memory 100%!)
The only examples I can find of bow mules in this style are 50's but I've no experience of when snakeskin was used and can't find any record of a Sari New York brand though I'm sure I've heard it before. (searches are turning up hundreds of locations and shops but none for shoes) Can anyone help with any of the above?

They look more mid70s to me. I actually had a very similar pair (purchased in NYC at Bloomies in 1979) with the heel and bow.

Bycin is correct - there are several style features that point to a later date - the heel is a bit too thick and straight for 59-61, which should be a very thin stiletto. There is too much toe exposed for the 59-61 period - the strap should be set forward a bit more. The inset textile label is 70s/80s, and the leather hid outline stamp on the sole is also later - I am not sure when that stamp first appeared but I think it was during the late 70s. And finally, there is just something about that teal colour that doesn't look right for the late 50s-early 60s. They love green then, but it should be pea green, or forest green, or bottle green, or even lime green. That shade of teal looks very disco to me - same era as chocolate and burgundy...
