Sears Evening Dress Help Dating

I keep going back and forth on dating this dress. Is it late 60s , or is it more 70s. The fabric has a shiny silvery/white lurex thread in it. The dress is lined. There is a belt loop at the underarm. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello, your dress looks late '70s to me. I suspect it's been shortened at some point, and was originally a bit longer.
