I am thinking a few of these are 70s. Would love opinions on these pieces. I will add (label names) and the information that I do have in a little bit. Thank you dearly. Sorry that I added http address twice, still learning how to post pictures on the forum correctly.
Regards,
D

Here are the labels for the purple butterfly piece and black skirt. The label for the for the orange/pink piece is not attached. There is a tag that simply states to use woolite.

i've gotta say your Shaheen is GORGEOUS, D!! and it smacks of 70's imho; think the second one could be late 60's/70's and i'd say 70's on your skirt, too, especially if its from Hong Kong (rather than Europe)

LOVE LOVE LOVE your Shaheen, it should FLY for you!!! congrats!! or is it a keeper for you???

Thanks!!!

Thanks ladies. Any thoughts about the embrod. plus size piece? Would that be common for poly? Or is there a similar fabric to poly. I know that sounds funny.

Mary, thanks for the link. I will check it. All of these pieces are going to listed. I am finding the vintage pieces run smaller than I am. :violins:

Hopefully one day... I just like goodies too much.

Sarah,
It is wool. I didn't attach the plus size piece. Here it is. I will also post a piece later today that I think is 50s, put i will post it under a seperate forum. I am getting another piece tomorrow that I like a lot... think it might be around same age.

alot of embroidery like that was done on polyester woven to have a linen look, too, making it even more difficult

you could do a burn test if you could unravel a bit of the seam allowance

thanks!!!

It does have stretch, so I am thinking a blend of some type. Do you think it is 60s or 70s?

Mary, I would love to chat with you re: ebay. Sorry changing subject for a moment. I am doing research on "starting a linking web site from Ebay." Would appreciate some suggestions on affordable web sites. I hope to add consignment at some point. And would hope to sell from a second source. I also carry used name brand items.

By the way, how do you do a burn test?
D
