A helpful online vintage shop owner directed me here, as she didn't have anything in my size in her inventory, and I've been having a lot of trouble finding something like this in my size.
I'm getting married in a few months and am looking for a white vintage 50s cocktail/party/prom dress to use as a wedding dress. I'm looking for a sexy retro hourglass type dress, the type with a sweetheart or shelf bust (low neckline, no high or jewel necks), small waist and flared skirt. Straps of some kind would be nice. Tea-length/mid-calf/knee-length (not full-length). Something like these images:
My measurements are 37.5"/27.5"/38"
