Seeking info on Ingrid Michele of Montreal.

I have just discovered this dressmaker or brand label and I love the style of work. Both pieces I have seen are c.1950s/60s strapless fitted bodices with matching skirts in velvet or chiffon and 3D decoration in embroidery or felt. I see at least one of our members has had a garment with this label, but it was too long ago to see the photo. Please send me a message if you have anything for sale like the above, as two pieces are one way to get around a tall frame, but more importantly I'm looking for any information on this name!
The set I have just purchased, and waiting impatiently to receive!:

I haven't uncovered much about Ingrid Michele, but THIS 1974 document records the Ingrid Michele Inc. company in two places in the publication, one of which gives the incorporation date:

The other reference in the publication appears to indicate the company was dissolved (in 1974).

And perhaps you also found THIS item at the Museum of Vancouver.

Thankyou Lynne, no I hadn't found that skirt but it is of the same construction as the two sets I have mentioned, so I'm willing to bet it originally also had a matching fitted top too.

What a great outfit. There is a boutique in Montreal called Ingrid's which has a similar look to the typography used in the label you have.

I have found many items with the Ingrid label but not yours with both. They did a lot of imports.

I just went and researched the one I'm referring to and it's not associated to your label.

Here's the info above on the Ingrid's I'm familiar with.

Ah well, thanks for trying Mary Jane.
I just got the set today, it was taken in, so I'm letting the skirt down and the bodice out to the original size today.
