Seeking Info on Myoung Zin GARMENT Designer – Vintage Leather Jacket & Skirt Bought in Korea (1992)

Hi everyone,
I’m hoping to learn more about a vintage leather jacket and matching skirt set that my mum purchased in Korea back in 1992. The label says 'Myoung Zin GARMENT' and 'Made in Korea.'

I’m curious to find out more about the designer, the history of the brand, and whether it was a well-known or niche label. Despite searching online, I haven’t been able to find much information about Myoung Zin, so I’m reaching out to this knowledgeable community for help.

I’ve attached photos of the label and garments for reference. If anyone knows anything about the designer, the brand’s origins, or the time period, I’d greatly appreciate your insights. Thank you so much for your time and expertise!

I found a couple other pieces listed on foreign websites, but they are no longer available. I also could not find any previously sold on eBay at all. I would assume it is a lesser-known label and exclusive to Korea. It looks late 80's to 90's to me so the 1992 purchase date it right on target. It is a gorgeous set and looks very well made.

Thank you so much for the information! Knowing the correct name is Myong Lin will definitely help with my search. It’s really interesting that there are so few pieces available, it makes me appreciate this set even more. The quality is incredible, so I had a feeling it might have been a lesser-known but well-made brand.

Would you happen to know of any resources or archives that focus on Korean fashion history? I’d love to dig a little deeper and learn more about the brand’s origins.
