Dear VFG members,
I have enjoyed being a fan of your site for a couple of years and have appreciated the information and sharing of great vintage wares. This being my first post, a little about me - I am one of many who believe I was born 40 years too late. I have a love for all things 20th-century vintage, from housewares and appliances to industrial items to fashion. I love the graphics of old advertising and appreciate the design aesthetic of even the most mundane, utilitarian items. I am a complete novice when it comes to vintage fashion. Well, enough about me. I hope someone here can help me date this fabulous Lilly Dache clutch. Also, the only flaws I can find in this "like new" example is it seems to be missing a comb, and is missing the zipper pull from the inside compartment. Does anyone know what these should look like? I found the bag at a rural tag sale - literally in a barn - among a box of miscellaneous bags, backpacks and totes marked "your choice, $1 EA". Many thanks in advance, and I look forward to getting to know all of you better. Cheers!
