Just thought of something I have in storage Ang:

70s hot pants and long fitted top in natural (off-white) denim with stars and stripes trim, in a size tiny. Would look smashing with red platforms!

Let me know if you would like me to grab the outfit and take a photo.

Somewhere I have a skirt with a bicentennial print...but I think it's shot/for fabric.

What cha up to? Store display?

Love those!!! Yep, well, LOONG term planning for the election as I am A) in Iowa, a state hit hard by politicians, their entourages and the press for the all important 1st caucus about a year out B) downtown, where most of the travellers mentioned above will be staying, passing by from the airport, etc C) across the street from the local NBC affiliate and D) my gramma, Dorothea, was a lifelong Dem, worked for the party....I'm also a few blocks from the governor's mansion and he is a dem, wife is tall & thin (I'm angling to get her in the shop), the previous Gov is running for president and HIS wife loves & wears hats (my Mom is attending a fundraiser this weekend and plans to tell her I would love to offer her a free hat, BTW)....so anyway, my shop has a lot of potential for some exposure and to be shopped!

Hillary will be here tomorrow so I switched the window to red white & blue.....theory being, at least in my experience, a lot of the people who travel w/ politicians tend to be a little edgy so I'm hoping at the very least they may notice as they pass by. They will have to go past my shop to get to where Hillary is speaking.

I'm not a hardcore political type but I know it would make my Gram proud if I happened to dress an elected type, or 1st wife-y type!

Thusly, anything I buy would have to be affordable for re-sale. Mary Jane, are those listed anywhere? And I'd love to see your stuff, Maggie...Jen, I'll think about the skirt for displays. I plan to watch for who/whats going on & do occassional displays. Off to look at the other links! Thanks guys....oh, and I'll show you today's window in a sec! Ang

And this is the other window.

I LOVE Catherine Ogust dresses! Hope someone else does! And I'm listing that velvet purple houndstooth coat tonight in my store. Ang

I want to go to your shop Ang!!!!!

I will grab my set and take a photo as soon as I can, well in time for the Iowa caucuses!

Ang...I dug this out of my fabric lot pile. Dunno what/if there is anything you could do with it. It's sinfully ugly in style, but might be dis-assembleable for display fabric or ???
It's a full maxi, I think there was some slight tinge of yellowing, and I did notice a break/hole. Has July 4 1776 in the banner by the bell image.
If you want it, it's yours.

Red White & Blue patriotic wear

Hi Ang,

regarding the red white and blue dresses...I don't have them online anywhere at this time...

I did send you a U2U a few days ago, perhaps I did it incorrectly as it has not been read.

The linen one had been on ebay months ago, did not sell. The striped bottom one which was purchased from a very high end store in the best area of Montreal (Lily Simon was the name) all imports from mainly France and Italy, I never got around to listing.

You can write to me directly at [email protected] if you are interested.

Bye for now

i have more, but these are handy and already photographed:

That was me who sold you the plaid coat and dress set. It looks great in the window! The flaws don't show.

It was!!! I can see that slight difference in the whites when I look up close and know to look for it, but overall they look great together. Had a girl try the coat on but she didnt want the dress....didnt end up getting the coat either. Its a great set!

Thanks all, I'm headed to the post office & will have time tonight to sit & look over the offerings here!

Ang
