Selby shoes - plz help with dating

These are such cute shoes! I am not sure of the dating, though. Could you please advise? Thanks a million!

It's really hard to be sure because these are designed for an older woman and don't have fashion as their number one concern, but rather comfort. The cushioned insole, low heel, and perforated leather are all typical of orthopaedic styles. That low heel could be 1950s - it was used for decades. However, the newest features of the shoes are the unskived edges of the leather toe cap, the very shiny gold of the bow tips, and the heavy cord of the bow. If the finishing had been a bit finer (edges skived and bow made of a flat leather rather than piped leather), and if the gold tips had been brass and darkened down, then even the toe shape would have been possible for a shoe of the 1950s, however, those three features place them well into the 1970s, and possibly even the 1980s. If someone told me their grandmother bought them in 1985 I wouldn't argue.
