Shameless Shoe Brag & Date help Please!

I will be putting these up on C&C tomorrow but just wanted to show off my lovelies and just verify my dating as corsets and riding habits are my speciality, shoes I'm a little lost at!

BTW, in case you are wondering, those are my big old size 10 feet (UK 8) modelling the ladies shoes so they are all wearable sizes!

I'm thinking late 1930's- VERY early 1940's on these with the almond shape to the foot and the chunky heels, also the grey leather lining.

These look like early to mid 1950's to me with their transitional babydoll to stiletto heel and not too point toe...

These men's shows belonged to Gary when we used to do Victorian re-enactment but he decided to sell them as we no longer go to events. He's got really WIDE square shaped feet so finding vintage shoes to fit him for our events was always a problem but these ones, he found comfy as the leather is so soft on them. They have Edwardian craftsmanship but not as narrow as shoes you find then. I reckon 1920's- early 1930's? They are marked as a size 10 but he has UK size 9 feet or US 10 feet so they are true to size. The shoe laces are modern.

The men's boots are probably 1920s, but they are a conservative style and would be suitable for anything from about 1910 - 1925. The middle pair are, I think, c. 1957ish but they are 'serviceable' for everyday wear. The top pair are, I am pretty sure mid 1950s. The use of lace in footwear is pioneered by Ferragamo and I suspect these are influenced by him, but like the middle pair, they are made for sensible wear, perhaps an older woman, or a younger woman who wants to wear high heeled shoes all day long.

Thanks Jonathan!! The two pairs of women's shoes were from the same lady but the lace pair threw me as they seemed a bit "older" styled.

They are! Gary really likes them but they aren't really suitable for his work and at the weekends, he likes wearing his sneakers or his hiking boots in the winter so they just have been sitting in the wardrobe for the past few years.
