Hello, I have a large number of vintage patterns, including some Vogue designers which i would love to sell on Ebay at last, but i just cannot figure out how to ship them. If they are vintage can they be shipped in rigid mailers or are padded mailers with cardboard a better option? I have been overthinking this literally for years, so i am reaching out for help from the experts. Thank you !!!

This is how I package my patterns. I put the pattern between 2 pieces of cardboard. The cardboard is basically a nice clean box that's been broken down. THEN, I get small bubble wrap - 3 squares worth - and roll it around the pattern sandwiched in the cardboard. Tape up the ends. Done. In the winter months I will ship in a plastic envelope.

I agree with Cinthia, though for me (and I do sell patterns) it depends a bit what it is, how big / delicate / damaged etc. the envelope is. I save up all bubble mailers that I get things in and use them a lot. Newer or less delicate patterns will just go into a sturdy envelope, but I always put them into a plastic sleeve to make sure that pattern can't get wet.
