Shoe help! Caramelized?

Greetings! I have a pair of shoes that I would like to know more about. The upper is sort of a caramel color and feels a bit like patent leather. Could anyone clue me in on age and material? Thanks!

Hi, sorry i cant help much, i'm still learning shoes.

they do look a bit like like maybe a faux tortise with the darker brown swirls.
i can give you a little tip tho.. a "Mr. Clean Magic Eraser" will get the price written in crayon? off the soles.

Those are really cute! They look mid to late 60s to me, but I'm not an expert!

I've sold a couple pairs of those chunky-heel pumps lately. They seem to be popular, especially in larger sizes.

Because they are made by Joyce, they were inexpensive shoes when they were new and are probably made of vinyl. I would expect they are towards the end of that style of shoe and probably date from the early 1970s, c. 1972ish.
