I've gone through Jonathan's Shoe Workshop (which is GREAT, thanks!) and have dated most with no problem - BUT - these shoes I am not too certain about!
I put them as being 40s due to the cuban heel - but for some reason I keep getting a 'earlier vibe' probably due more to their condition than anything else - but I am just not sure if I have the date right.
They are by "Bective" with the name showing through an oval cutout at the centre of the insole - also stamped with "CushionWear" and "American Style & Last". In black leather, with an embossed strip either side looking like alligator skin, and with elastic across the instep behind the large flat bow.
Any help much appreciated!
