Shoes -- I am clue-free, please help to date these peep toe pumps!

The title says it all! I've looked at pictures of shoes, and they look 50s or 60s to me, but my experience with shoes is zilch, and so I need help. I don't think they're real leather, and the liners are coming out. The name is "Inspirations by Myers" and I could find very little info of help on that name. Thank you!

You're doing just fine mid to late 50s I'd say. I don't tend to find a resin rubber sole before this on heels. The uppers look like real suede to me, but there were man made alternatives available so it's possible it's something else.

Thank you ! I'll check the uppers again. They seemed too smooth and perfect to me to be real. Other than smell, is there any trick to telling?

They could be nubuck, which is a super fine suede. I get rid of damage to suede by sanding with a fine nail sander. I don't think you could do this with the man made version, but I've not tried it to tell.
