Hello! I'm new to posting on the forums but have been lurking occasionally for a few months.
I've always wondered about the numbers on the inside of vintage shoes. For instance, I have a pair of Saks vintage stilettos. Inside they are marked 8a but also "18976" and underneath those numbers is "SX900X". I've seen various numbers on old shoes and always wondered if they help in dating the shoe.
Any help would be appreciated.
