Hello Everyone!:-)
I need some help please.
Can someone identify these pair of shoes please?
Who made them? They belonged to my mum , she bought them in 1960s in Damascus that is why there is a little sticker in Arabic(my guess).
There is a sign "Cocktail" on the sole. Is this a maker name?
I would be grateful for any information.

Thank you
(English is not my first language so pardon me for the mistakes please)

Cocktail is probably the name of the brand, or line of shoes, not the maker. I suspect they could have been made in Damascus, as there was a shoe making industry in Syria and Turkey, so both are possibilities. They are unusual for the times - the fleece lining is usually only seen in winter footwear, like boots, but these are obviously intended to be dressier, and the stitchdown construction on the vamp is also unusual, although I have seen it on Italian footwear from the early 1960s.
