Show us your favorite 40\'s lounge wear

I just love dressing gowns and robes from the 40's. They were usually made of rayon in the most wonderful prints. I recently watched "The Black Stallion" which takes place in the 40's, and there is a scene with Teri Garr wearing a fabulous floral print robe.

Anyway, here is one of my all time favorites with large scale red and pink carnations on black by Saybury:

That is so pretty. I was just looking threw vintage Vogue magazines and page after page is filled with loungewear that is so beautiful they can be worn as gowns. Not like the sweatpants and track suits of today.<P>My favorite lounging wear is this vintage barbizon...<P><img src=http://members.sparedollar.com/pinky-a-gogo/barb7.jpg><P>I also love this lounge set.
