Have you ever looked at a vintage dress with a wild print and spotted a little "Emilio" (as in Pucci), "Lilly" (Pulitzer) or "Shaheen" (Alfred) worked into the pattern? What about the "Vera" on the corner of a scarf?

Oh, the thrill of the signed fashion item, whether literally etched onto the back of a brooch, painted on a necktie, or worked into a fabric design—where do we sign up?!

I have sold a lot of signed jewelry and have many signed pieces in my personal collection. I thought I would share a very
special signed Ming's set.

My uncle bought this set for my grandmother when he was stationed in Hawaii during WWII. He gave them to me a few years after she passed away - which is quite awhile ago now. The flowers are anthuriiums.



I just remembered this handbag that I purchased at a second-hand shop in Honolulu quite awhile ago. It's serial number dates it to the 1980s. I'll have to use it while it's still summer!!
