Silk perfume smell

Hello!
I have a pair of 1930s silk pale pink beach pants that smell like perfume. I sprayed them with alcohol and that helped, but the smell isn’t gone. Any tips?

Have you tried Zero Odor? I use that with pretty reliable success. I'd also hang the pants out in fresh air.

I always like to wash everything but that and a lot of airing should do the trick. If you prefer not to wash them, just airing in fresh air (may take a while) should do the thing. Another option is to pop them into a plastic bag and freeze for a while.

I don't like to use vodka as the sugars can impact the antique fabric over time.
