sixties dress?

Hello again,
I have a brocade? dress with a matching jacket. I was thinking it was from the sixties. Does that sound accurate? Also, if so what part of the sixties--early, mid or late? I always wonder when this style was most popular.

These styles were favoured by older ladies throughout the decade but I think yours is early to mid. It may have been shortened/updated at some point too, as it's rather short - but if the hem is original you're probably looking at late '60s.
