Skirt dating help

Hello everyone! I am a beginning collector of vintage clothing so I'm still getting the hang of what are some older brands or trying to recognize vintage labels. I found this skirt with the original sale tags still attached. The brand label on the skirt says "Evan-Picone Petites." And I was just wondering if anyone had an idea of what year this could be from? It has a union label and wool label as well.

I concur with Jen about the usefulness of garment photos for dating but note that the label is listed in the VFG LR as appearing on a late '80s to early '90s label. The other labels and swing tag are consistent with this.

Perhaps the season code on the swing tag '88H' translates as '1988 Hiver (Winter)'? Most fashion companies at this time produced two main ranges: spring summer and autumn winter.

It would help to see a picture of the entire garment, but on the basis of the labels I’d guess it’s from the 80s.
You're right. I completely forgot to show the entire skirt.

Thanks for the photos: suspect the skirt is on the wrong way and should be swiveled 90 degrees - so the seams are down the side, not front and the zipper is at centre back, not side. Likely had a matching jacket originally. Skirts got shorter into the early '90s so you can often help date by the waist to hem length measurement.
