Small Green Vintage Felt Hat

Hey everyone! My boss found this little vintage felt hat, but we can't figure out if it belongs to an old uniform or is simply a basic hat. We've looked into the Girl Scouts old hats, but we can't find this one. It's felt and has ribbon edging and a four leaf clover type shape. As you can see in the 3rd picture, the identification is quite faded. The beanie/cap is approximately 7x7 inches & 4 inches deep.

Anyone have any idea?

That is a very cute hat. The markings inside are the worn stampings of the maker (or importer) of the green felt itself, not the hat maker or millinery company so that really won't give us too much in the way of a clue. While I cannot tell if this was made to go with a uniform or garment, I can say that the hat looks home made. My guess is this was made in a high school home economics class or some local millinery class, or by a person working at home from a book, etc. It does not have the marks of being professionally made.

But it is cute!
